DeROMA, CHARLES A. Of West Roxbury, formerly of Roslindale, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 15, 2012. Beloved husband of 50 years to Shirley (Brown/Sarro). Loving father of Tracy DeRoma of Walpole, and Charles “CHAD” DeRoma Jr. and his wife Shannon of Doylestown, PA. Son of the late Florindo and Catherine (Plyer) DeRoma. Devoted grandfather to Tyler Forgeron, Remy and Sydny DeRoma. Brother of Maryanne Tarabelli and her husband Louie of Needham and the late Andrew, Louise, Fredrick, Margaret, Edward, Florindo Jr., Robert, and Catherine. Also survived by many caring nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury, Monday, Aug. 20 at 9 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in the Holy Name Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8pm Relatives and friends invited. Interment Forest Hills Cemetery. Late owner of DeRoma Bros.
