Mr. Charles B. Schneider, Jr., of Raynham, died Tuesday, October 16 in Morton Hospital following a battle with cancer. He was the loving companion of Tracey Costa of Taunton. He was born 49 years ago in Princeton, N.J., the son of Charles B. and Inge (Nauert) Schneider, Sr. of Stephens City, Va. He was educated in Millburn, N.J., graduating from Millburn High School and received his B.S. in Geology from the University of Delaware. He was employed as a Senior Project Manager for URS Corporation, Boston for 10 years. He was previously employed as a geologist for a number of firms in New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island. Charles was a member of several Historical Preservation organizations. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton. In addition to his parents and his companion, he leaves: 2 brothers: John E. Schneider of Florham Park, N.J., and Paul C. Schneider of Stephens City, Va.; 1 nephew: William Schneider; 4 nieces: Emily, Julia, Audrey and Lena Schneider; a dear friend and former spouse: Shyama Khanna of Boston, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Jude the Apostle Church, 249 Whittenton Street, Taunton, on Friday, October 19 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute (the Jimmy Fund), P.O. Box 849168, Boston, Ma., 02284-9168.

Of West Newton, passed away unexpectedly Saturday October 27th, 2012 in the Newton – Wellesley Hospital at the age of 86. Born on January 11, 1926 in East Boston; son of the late of James and Delia Mary (Kelley) Constantine, Charlie often spoke of how much he loved growing up in Cambridge. Later he would move to West Newton where he has resided for the past 50 years. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving during the both World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Nonamtum Post #440 in Newton. Charlie was employed by the City of Newton Public Works Department. He served his fellow colleagues by being a strong voice on many issues including benefits while serving as Vice-President of the Laborer’s Union Local #800. The most important thing in Charlie’s life was his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father and an extrodinary uncle to his many nieces & nephews. In his spare time he had passion for racing horses and enjoyed an occasional gambling opportunity. Beloved husband of the late Helen Katherine (Nicolazzo) Constantine, and brother of the late Ruth Davis, Leonard and Francis Constantine. He is survived by his devoted & loving daughter Deborah Constantine of West Newton, his brothers and sisters in-law William and Dorothy (Nicolazzo) Lanciloti and Eugene and Marilyn (Nicolazzo) Tofanelli. In addition he is survived by his many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews. Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend Funeral Services from the Brasco & Sons Memorial Chapels, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Wednesday morning Oct. 31st at 8:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of Charles Life at Saint Bernard’s Church, 1523 Washington Street, West Newton at 10:30 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held in the Funeral Home prior to the Funeral Mass from 8:30 – 10:15 a.m. Parking attendants on duty. Charles was a CFP, Financial Advisor, and Vice President of Investments, at UBS Financial Services, Inc.. He was a fun loving adventurer, avid skier, soccer coach and all around outdoorsman. He loved his family and enjoyed being surrounded by nature. Charlie supported many organizations including the Chernobyl Children Project. NEPrwa, Friends of the Blue Hills, Youth Enrichment Services, Trustees of Reservation, New England Wildlife Center, Boy Scouts and IANDS. Loving son of Charles Sr. and Edith Cox of Norwell. Loving husband of Hilary J. Blocker-Cox of Canton. Proud father of Spencer Cox, Austin H. Cox, and Isabella B. Cox all of Canton. Loving brother of Elizabeth (Cox) Ryan and her husband Robert of Canton, Lori-Anne (Cox) Valianti and her husband John of Marshfield, and Julianna (Cox) Hale and her husband Alan of Atkinson N.H. Hudson, MA Charles J. Ross Sr., 80, of Hudson, formerly of Waltham, died Wednesday, Nov. 14th at his residence following a period of declining health. Charles was born and raised in Boston, son of the late James and Julia (Keady) Ross. He attended local schools and was a graduate of South Boston High School. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1958 when he was honorably discharged. He resided in Waltham for many years before settling in Hudson the past 15 plus years. He was a member and retired manager of the Hudson Rod and Gun Club. He also spent time as an NRA Instructor at the club. Charles was a member and former Commander of the V.F.W. Post 1052 in Waltham. Besides his love of family and the country he defended, Charles took great pride representing the V.F.W. Post as a volunteer for several children’s charitable organizations. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Charles J. “Chuck” Ross Jr. and his wife Marie of West Virginia, Mark Ross-Corbett and his wife Debbie of Wisconsin, Nancy Brophy and her husband Michael of Marlboro and Jodi Falotico and her husband Jim of Illinois. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Ross of Quincy; his 9 grandchildren, Jeffrey Hyland, Linda Lawton, Nicholas Ross, Kimberly Vance, Joseph Ross-Corbett, Katherine Hill, Michael Ross-Corbett, Markie Falotico, Jackie Falotico; his five great grandchildren, Ava Lawton, Brianna Lawton, Carly Lawton, Grace Ross-Corbett and Jackson Hil and his many close nieces and nephews. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, Nov. 18th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Charles will be laid to rest with his long time companion, the late Elizabeth Hyland at a private committal service in Mt.Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
